After Five 03:15
After Five Our concept of time changes again, I change the clock while I drive, After Five Life’s in 5th but sometimes 4th is all that you have Can’t keep up, Some drive to fast, Without a hint as to where or when Five is a friend Leaving life to cards, it’s one way to live Taking a dive, After Five Favorite numbers, a 6 card spread But hearts can turn to knives, After Five Watch out for the road blocks Stay tuned for the answer Up ahead’s labelled danger And you’ve already set fire to… The ropes that held you down, The wings that pulled you up, The armor that you threw down, Opening your heart up And you’ll drive, and you’ll drive, As long as forever until you arrive, But you’ll always arrive, After Five. Toxic Honey 03:22
Toxic honey You swore off the bad things, well can I convince you one more couldn’t possibly hurt? Cause every inch of you shudders, and every breath you breathe surrenders you to me. Can you hear the sound the winds have changed, we’re no longer caged, but sometimes we’re all tied up. Let me touch your heart, we’ll feel our way through the dark, my lips will tell you where I am, I want you with me honey, sweet, toxic honey. The energy will flow between us, there’s no limit to what we can do, or where we will go. You shine so bright, you caught my eye. I pulled you from your place in the sky, and laid you next to me, I laid you next to me. I won’t hold you there unless you ask. I only wanted to see you close, pulled right up against my skin, intoxicating me, like warm honey. Let me touch your heart, we’ll feel our way through the dark, my lips will tell you where I am, I want you with me honey, sweet, toxic honey, toxic honey. Written by: Markus Michelucci

Just Believe 04:40
just believe You’re living with your friends in their little tiny house, you’re looking to get out and set everybody free, you’re just waiting for that cash that you need. And all the trees they’re blowing everywhere, you live close to the beach but you’re never, ever there, you don’t know what the value of it is. You picked up a book and you read it for the joy, you wondered if it might provide some insight to your life, just read on you might be surprised. And rent’s so high there are people struggling for their lives , the people on the street you pass and never look twice. It’s hard to be calm when the storm is coming faster than you can run. Just don’t give up. She thought that she had found a boy that she could love forever, but then the time came and you had to leave her, let her know that it’s your one regret. Now the cold air, oh, it touches you, and the chill settles in, it’s only looking for a warm place to live, it just so happens you are too. Clever little anecdotes in every single song, repeated imagery, with subtle undertones, it’s music that sets your pace of life. And rent’s so high there are people struggling for their lives, the people on the street you pass and never look twice. It’s hard to be calm when the storm is coming faster than you can run. Just don’t give up. You moved out west to be some kind of star, to play your heart out to the crowd, and though it’s hard to be found, you will find all you need, and don’t worry you’ll be there eventually, and don’t worry you’ll get there just believe. Tomorrow 02:52
tomorrow We needed time to reflect on what we’d done, breaks and lunches just weren’t enough. A wave of sound continued throughout time, long after we had all gone. Everything reduced to its most basic form, moving around, energy girl, cosmic eternity, Where you live it, you dream it, it all feels good. You need it, I’ll bring it, I’ll be right there. You’ve had a long day rest in the bluing dawn, you can be certain the world will not look so wrong. Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow is coming. The goddess kisses your lids as you squeeze them tightly closed… Could you feel it? Time is over, your worries are no more. So don’t go Cinderella on me, and disappear. Cause you live it, you dream it, it all feels good. You need it I’ll bring it, I’ll be right there. See you, see you, see you, I’ll see you tomorrow! Written By: Markus Michelucci

Vancouver’s on Fire Vancouver’s on fire, her and I have been better I hear her voice on the line, distant and silently crying, As the last plane roars past Could liquid extinguish the flames are us? Is distance enough or will it spread? Like wings of fire, and wonderful colour And there’s no time, there’s no time There’s no time to scramble up the temple, Drown me in your flame. Cause if you let me burn out, Nothing but ashes will remain. The little boat pulls into the shore, Tonight he’ll fish no more. Sun’s gone now, campfire keeps me warm Child puts helmet on his head, The day is done bike home to bed, Then to another, from child to father, and father to mother The flames dance while they dream, I miss her dearly… And there’s no time, there’s no time There’s no time to scramble up the temple, Drown me in your flame. Cause if you let me burn out, Nothing but ashes will remain. Vancouver’s on fire, her and I have been better. Written by: Markus Michelucci/

ballad for the earth I climb out of the rubble gasping for air. Crowded buses don’t roam here anymore. I carry you with me, to show you the world as it is now. Could we have driven electric cars? Or picked up after ourselves? Could we all loved each other that much more? Did we not pay enough attention to the world?   Run up to the ridge, and look over all that has become!   Now we can see, exactly what we’ve done, let ourselves be swept away by greed. Or did you feel powerless under those in power? Selfishly consumed by their own needs.   I guess they didn’t see, I guess they didn’t see this…   I collapse to the ground feeling small and alone, but hope’s out there somewhere waiting for it to be again, with cities made of stone and food injected with things good for our bones. An unbiased system of law, a place where everyone thrives and can be strong.   Chart the stars and they’ll tell you where we’ve been. Ask more questions, don’t follow blindly, and do what you can, to save the world and each other.   Look over the ridge, and imagine all we could become!   It’s not a choice to be made or taken lightly, understand! So stand up and start again! This is your second chance, understand! So stand up and start again!   And the rest, well you’ll see…will come.   Pull myself from the ground feeling strong, and I know, hope’s out there somewhere.        Written by: Markus Michelucci

The Chimes 05:33
the chimes Kneeling before the storm, through an old screen door, sleepless with ideas and words, framed by roses and thorns, some ailments you just can’t shake, and a few people’s lives you feel the same about. The chimes on the porch say, I’ll see you later, and a wave is more than they requested. Understanding is where they are, and it’s where we all should be. Today may be a good day to disappear, for those who knew him could assume that the rain, had cloaked him and taken him away. Crash through the concrete jungle, hundreds of miles, reckless with luck and passion, fuelled by lightning sparks and fire. Some questions you’ve endlessly sought, and the future for which you’ll do the same about. Let the waning lights finish what you’d started, after all they knew you best. Understanding is where they are, and it’s where we all should be. Today may be a good day to disappear, for those who knew him could assume that the rain, had cloaked him and taken him away. It’s understood that this where you’ll take your leave, with, no reassurance that you’ll ever be returning. Today may be a good day to disappear, for those who knew him well could assume that the rain, had cloaked him and taken him away. Written By: Markus Michelucci/
